27-09-26 Fawn is a beautiful girl who was born here at Many Tears after her mum, Bondi, arrived with us heavily pregnant. Bondi needed an emergency c-section to safely deliver her puppies and was the most wonderful mum to them. Sadly, when the puppies were just two weeks old, Bondi suffered a catastrophic haemorrhage from her vulva, an incredibly rare complication following her c-section. She was rushed to an emergency vet for life saving surgery and against all odds, she pulled through and has since made a wonderful recovery. However as she needed to focus all of her strength on her own recovery, she was sadly unable to continue raising her puppies.

Since then, these little ones have been lovingly hand raised by some of our incredible members of staff, who have provided round the clock care, lots of cuddles and everything they have needed to grow into happy, healthy puppies.

They are now ready to start looking for their very special forever homes. They are happy, cheeky and well socialised little pups who have their whole lives ahead of them and are looking forward to discovering the world with their new families.

They are confident enough that they could happily be homed as only dogs, provided their adopters have plenty of time to dedicate to them and are committed to helping them grow into happy and well rounded adult dogs. They could also live with kind resident dogs who wouldn't mind having a playful puppy racing around after them. As they are still so young, we would potentially consider a home with a gentle, dog savvy cat.

We would also consider homes with children who are old enough to understand that a puppy is not a toy and who can be gentle and respectful around them while also understanding that puppies can be full of energy and often like to explore with their little puppy teeth. Their new families will need to be prepared for all the hard work that comes with raising a puppy, including helping them learn about the world, continuing their socialisation and teaching them all the things they need to know as they grow.

Fawn's adopters will need to agree to take her to puppy socialisation classes and to have her spayed at the appropriate age as per our adoption agreement.

She cannot leave for her new home until she is at least 8 weeks old.
