  • Human family requirements

I can live with older, dog savvy teenagers, aged 13+ who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to exercise in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I'm fully vaccinated and will be neutered before adoption.

30-09-26 Kirk is a scared young lad who has come into our care from a breeder. He is not used to being handled, but he will accept us picking him up and, once he is settled in our arms, he seems to really enjoy a gentle fuss.

Kirk is currently kennelled with another male dog, but we think he would be fine to be homed with a suitable female too. We believe that Kirk will need another dog in his new home, and this canine companion will be a much-needed support system for him as he settles in and begins to find his confidence.

As Kirk has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. His new family will need to be patient and understanding while he gets used to all the new experiences that come with living in a home. He can live with older, dog-savvy teens aged 13+ who are sensible.

Kirk has arrived with matted fur, so he will be having a much-needed groom to help him feel more comfortable and start to feel a little more like himself.

Kirk is a sweet young boy who is understandably unsure at the moment, but we can already see that he enjoys affection once he feels safe. We hope that with the support of a kind canine companion, a patient family and plenty of TLC, he will slowly grow in confidence and enjoy the happy new start he deserves.

He has a travel document.

Kirk has been given the Gift of Life by Margaret Hunter
