  • Human family requirements

I'd like a quiet, experienced, adult-only home to help me relax and feel safe.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to exercise in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I will be spayed before finding my forever home!

30-09-26 Paris is a scared girly who is not used to being handled. She has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start and is not a fan of human touch at the moment.

When we have needed to get close to Paris for health checks, we have had to carefully corner her so that we can pick her up. She panics and shakes, but she does allow us to handle her and, once she is safely in our arms, she eventually cuddles into us and allows us to carry out her checks. This shows us that although she is very frightened, she is beginning to understand that we are not going to hurt her.

Paris will need another kind and confident dog in her new home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system for her as she settles in and starts to find her confidence.

As Paris has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. She will need an ex-breeding experienced, adult-only home with adopters who understand just how much patience and reassurance she will need.

Paris is a very worried little girl right now, but once she is given the security of being held, we can see that there is a much softer side to her. We hope that with time, patience and the support of a reassuring canine companion, she will slowly learn to trust and enjoy the happy new start she deserves.

Paris has a travel document.
