I will need an adult-only home that understands me.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

02-10-26 Pixie is a sweet little girl who has come into our care from a breeder. She is a little shy when first approached, but will allow herself to be picked up and carried and enjoys some gentle fuss and attention. Once she is being held, she is happy to settle and can show us her lovely, gentle nature.

Pixie gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. Pixie will need an adult only home that has experience with ex-breeders to better understand her needs.

As Pixie has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to give her plenty of time, patience and encouragement while she gets used to her new surroundings.

Pixie is a lovely little girl who is still finding her confidence, but she is happy to accept gentle affection once she feels safe. We hope that with the support of a kind canine companion and a loving family, she will slowly blossom and enjoy the happy new start she deserves.

She has arrived with old scarring on her eye from a previous ulcer that will be monitored by our vets.

She has a travel document.

Pixie has been given the Gift of Life by June Torgensen
