  • Human family requirements

I can live with older, dog savvy teenagers, aged 13+ who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

01-10-26 Mabel is a sweet and gentle girl who has come into our care from a breeder.

She will accept some gentle fuss and allows us to carry her, but we do need to carefully corner her to pick her up as she is still unsure of our intentions. She is nervous of us at the moment, but once she is safely in our arms, she settles and allows us to give her some attention.

Mabel is currently kennelled with other female dogs and is enjoying their company. As she gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.

As Mabel has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to be patient and give her time to adjust to her new surroundings and all the new experiences that come with home life. She can live with older, dog-savvy children aged 13+ who are sensible.

Mabel is a lovely gentle girl who is still finding her confidence, and we hope that having a confident canine companion to show her the way will help her feel safer and become more comfortable around people. With time, patience and lots of kindness, we hope she can blossom into the happy little girl waiting underneath those worries.
