  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I am in a foster home now so am learning all about home life and house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

Orbit is a very sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was feeling quite nervous and unsure and was understandably a little overwhelmed by all the changes around her. Despite this, she has been an easy girl to handle and we hope that with time, patience and reassurance, she will begin to feel more confident.

Orbit has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is getting to experience home life for the first time ever, she is settling in well and loves to spend her days curled up on the sofa! When she's on the sofa she will allow her fosterer to give her a gentle fuss. In the garden, Orbit is much more nervous and is very worried about being approached and can bark, but with TLC she will hopefully soon start to settle.

Orbit absolutely loves other dogs and especially enjoys snuggling up with them. She takes comfort from having her doggy friends close by and will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her feel safe as she settles into family life. She does need to be fed separately, just with one other dog as otherwise she can feel overwhelmed and at the moment she prefers to eat soft, soaked food and only if she doesn't think any humans are watching her.

She is looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience of ex-breeding dogs and understand that she will need time to adjust. Her new family will need to be patient and allow Orbit to settle in at her own pace, gently encouraging her as she discovers all the new experiences that come with life in a home. We would consider homing her with kind and understanding teenagers aged 16+.

As Orbit has never lived in a home before moving to foster, her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life. She is starting to learn about house training and is already doing well. She will also need to learn how to wear a harness and walk on a lead, so this will need to be introduced slowly and positively while she builds her confidence.

Orbit is a lovely, gentle girl who is just looking for someone who will give her the time and understanding she needs. With a kind doggy friend by her side and a patient family willing to let her progress at her own pace, we hope she will soon blossom into a happy and confident member of her new family.

Orbit has a travel document.
