13-08-26 Mika has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for a loving forever home. She is a very shy little lady who prefers to hide away and looks to her canine friends for comfort and reassurance. When left alone, Mika shakes like a leaf, and it is heart-breaking to see just how overwhelmed she can become.

Mika will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in the home that she can lean on as she learns about trust, companionship, and life in a family environment. She has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to have ex-breeder experience and be patient and understanding as she learns all about house training and settles into a new routine.

Mika has started to learn comfortability with putting on a harness, and has walked to and from the yard on a lead but she is still too nervous to venture out too far just yet. Her adopters will need to work with her on this and continue to build her confidence and work at her pace. She will need a calm, adult-only home where she can settle at her own pace and slowly begin to build her confidence.

Mika has so much potential and so much love to give. She simply needs someone who can see beyond her fears, give her the time she deserves, and help her find her paws in the world.

Mika has a travel document.
