Mash
Mash is a very worried girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was very worried and overwhelmed and clearly hadn't had much handling or socialisation. She found human interaction very worrying and preferred not to be approached and would hide away.
She has now moved to a wonderful foster home where she is settling in well and starting to come out of her shell. She is getting to experience home life for the first time and is now happy to approach her fosterers and will now even follow them around, although is still very worried about handling. Mash has already learned how comfy a nice cosy dog bed can be and loves having a snooze in them and will sleep quietly all night with the resident dogs.
Mash will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and will allow her to settle in at her own pace. She would be best suited to an adult only home or where any teenagers are 16+. She loves other dogs and relies on them for comfort and reassurance, so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend.
As Mash has never lived in a home before moving to foster, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she settles into home life. She is already doing well with her house training. She isn't yet ready to walk on a lead and harness and so will need a very secure garden that she can potter around in until she is ready to start learning about wearing a harness.
Mash is a truly sweet girl who is simply overwhelmed by everything that is new to her. Given the time, patience and understanding she deserves, we are sure she will blossom into a wonderful companion and in the right home we think she will truly thrive.
Mash has a travel document.
