Evian is a sweet little lady who has come to us from a breeder. When she first arrived, she was very flighty and fearful. Since then, she has settled in and come out of her shell and has made incredible progress and really let her sweet personality shine through.

Evian has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is getting to experience home life for the very first time and seems to be loving it. She is getting on well with all of the resident dogs and has the waggiest little tail. She has met cats in her foster home, but at the moment is scared of them. She is a little sweetheart and will put her little paws up on the side of the sofa to ask her fosterer to pick her up for a cuddle, which is very sweet. With love and TLC, we think she will adore being someones special girl.

Evian will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where she can settle in at her own pace. She can live with older, dog-savvy teens, aged 16+ who understand that she needs time to settle in. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend.

She had never lived in a home before moving to foster, so her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she continues to learn all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness. Given the progress she has already made in such a short time, we don't think it will take Evian long to blossom into a wonderful companion in the right home.

Evian has arrived with a fused hind leg, this has been assessed by our vet and this doesn't appear to be causing her any issues. She gets around well and shows no signs of pain or discomfort. She does walk with an abnormal gait, as she is not able to bend this leg, but this doesn't seem to bother her. Although she seems to cope fine now, we are unsure how this may effect her in the future. It is possible that she will always manage perfectly well but there is also the possibility in the future she may need further investigations, x-rays or to visit a specialist, which would not be covered by insurance.

Evian has a travel document.
